HI ! Here's a story for everyone. :)
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there was a school. In this school, there were many wonderful beings, called humans.
They all studied together in this school, called Anderson Secondary School. After their classes, some of these humans came together for their Co-Curricular Activities. They called this group of people the ATCians, and the group as the Anderson Theatre Circle. They put up shows and plays.
Curious about this Co-Curricular Activity, also known as CCA in their school, I joined them. They welcomed me with heartwarming smiles. In a room filled with many strangers, we were introduced to the previous Executive Committee, also known as the ExCo. We got to know some seniors too.
Soon, we were told that our very first production by ourselves and a few Secondary Two seniors was to be performed on a specific day, known through the school as Speech day. I was assigned a role as a classmate, otherwise a calefare as i only appeared once. I was disappointed, but happy as i still got a chance to appear. It turned out to be a success. Although there were minor mistakes such as little response from the people on stage and people touching the backstage curtains, so on and so forth, I thought we did a pretty good job.
Then there was the theatre trips. The teachers-in-charge, Ms Rochelle Lin and Ms Lee Min Er, organized a theatre trip to the play "Much Ado About Nothing" written by Shakespeare. It was a pretty good play and it brought a lot of us together. Also, there was the physical theatre festival held by Anglo-Chinese Junior College, where we managed to enjoy performances by different schools. We had a chance to take part in it, but due to the serious H1N1 situation, we were not allowed to.
Committee work also brought people in different committees together, as it acted like a bonding session.
The upcoming event also requires our expertise, the arts festival. I have a lot to learn from everyone in ATC. The ExCos, Praveena, Zhe Shuo, Zhan Rong, Darrick, Yu Jun and Sakinah. The Shadow-Excos, Haziq, Benjamin, Natasha, Farah, Xin Hui and another secret Shadow-ExCo. And of course, all the seniors in ATC.
Sorry, I sound like I'm writing a farewell letter.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped me in one way or another. A BIG THANK YOU! :) I'm really sounding like i'm writing a script for a speech.
:) Lastly, I want to share some luck with all the Sec 4, Sec 3-going-on-Sec-4 for their exams, and to the rest of us for our End-Of-Year Exams. :)
Goodbye,:D
The End.
with lots of happiness and smiles,
amelia. :D
