28 October, early morning,
The whole of the school was still dead in the midst of silence and yawning.
Except for one particular place.
THE BLACK BOX!
People were pacing up and down.
The ATC people, to be exact.
Some were camwhoring, some were busy meddling with their ribbons with the help of Ms.Lee, Ms.Lin and some girls from the costume team.
THE LONG AWAITED ARTS FEST IS HERE HERE HERE HERE HERE!!
Soon, more and more ATCians were bustling into the black box.
Excited shrills pierced the air.
THE LONG AWAITED ARTS FEST IS HERE HERE HERE HERE HERE!!

First thing first, we got into our costumes and waited for the make up.
Of course, the make up was done nicely.
The make up team managed to finish on time although they only had a few people.
Then we did some warm ups and rehearsals, lead by Mr. Smith.
After that, we sat and prepared for the
LONG AWAITED ARTS FEST PERFORMANCE!
The camwhores and the meddling with ribbon continues, accompanied by the door opening momentarily which causes the voices outside to seep in once in a while.
Then came the moment when Mr. Smith led us outside, with our full costumes and make up all done.
ALL OF US WERE VERY VERY VERY NERVOUS, at least I was .
The teachers encouraged us, and told us to enjoy and relax.
Walking calmly as a group, (first time atc performed together!)
we reached the destination.
Breathe in, breathe out.
Few seconds later, we were all walking to our places.
Cheering could be heard.
FARAH!
AFIQ!
MALCOLM!
JASMINE!
HAZIQ!
And on,
LOADS OF THEM
Soon, we were getting all the limelights, just as Mr. Smith had told us.
Then the music came in,
capturing almost everyone's attention when we started to move slowwwwly into our first positions.
Slowly, into every single positions.
After that it was the waving.
As expected, people waved back.
I am sure many spotted their friends among the crowd.
It was so exciting.
Next it was the movements again but at light's speed.
Luckily not many forgot their movements.
Lastly, it was the wild animals.
it was rather obvious that all of us were very much into character,
remembering to make use of the bars more often and looking down at the audience from different places.
there were claps and cheers.
EXHILARATED AND ELATED,
we gave our bows and rushed back to the Black box.
The teachers thought we did a good job, yes I'm sure we did right?
:D

After that we had our sandwiches which were bought by the teachers and 'served' by Sakinah! (:
Standing outside, people were discussing how they felt during the performance.
'Nervous', 'excited', 'very fun' .
Well personally i felt abit weird at first but then, upon seeing other people doing the same thing.
I felt that we were very much united, and that was probably the 2009 sec one batch's first and last performance with the sec3s.
Hence, we had to give our very best.
Although we might not be as 'violent' as we should have been during the wild animal part,
I thought we did quite good.
Then came the sad news.

We were not going to do the performance again ! ):
Aw man!
Due to the RAIN

after that, cleaned up.
took out make up.
And changed.
After one day of hard's work, we sat down.
Listened to the teachers.
Laughed commented.

Was such a fruitful day yeah ;D
Once again , thankyou to all those who made it possible for us to perform.
